Our Partners

At BriteStreet Solar Group we support a long and reputable list of partners throughout the Greater Denver area, from scholarship funding programs to hospitals and schools to community organizations and foundations. A lot of the organizations that we partner with we feel that are a good fit for us because we share the same desires for our community. We appreciate our partners for their morals and ethics to help not only the environment that we live in, but the people that are a part of the Denver community.

ACE Scholarships

ACE is a Denver, Colorado 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides partial scholarships to children in grades K-12 to attend the private school of their choice.

Since 2000, ACE Scholarships has provided more than 12,000 scholarships worth more than $30 million in Colorado. We currently have hundreds of families hoping to receive a scholarship and there are thousands of empty seats in our Colorado partner schools waiting to be filled.

So our work continues until our vision is realized – that every child in Colorado has access to a great school.

Children's Hospital Colorado

Thanks to donations large and small and the generous philanthropic spirit of our community, Children’s Colorado is able to provide the family-centered care for which we have become world renowned. Your support helps expand our reach nationally and internationally and makes Children’s Colorado one of the world’s preeminent institutions of medicine and science.

Schools and Scholarships

ACE Scholarships, Special Operations Warrior Foundation, The University of Denver and Valor Christian High School are all partners that we support due to their ability to provide educational experiences for our Denver community, whether it is financial support or educational subjects that improve the thinking of others. ACE Scholarships is a non-profit that provides scholarships to children in grades K-12 and funds their tuition of any private school of their choice. Special Operations Warrior Foundation also ensures financial assistance for a post-secondary degree from any accredited college, university, technical or trade school. This organization also provides surviving children of Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps special operations personnel whom have lost their lives in the line of duty with family and educational counseling, as well as in-home tutoring. Both The University of Denver and Valor Christian high school value preparing students for challenges of productive citizenship and growth. Both schools offer unique classes and rigorous classes that emphasize critical thinking.

Colorado Uplift

For 35 years, Colorado UpLift has been building long-term, life-changing relationships with urban youth. During the 2015-2016 school year, UpLift reached more than 5,600 kids and anticipates growing that number to nearly 6,000 in 2017. We are also proud to say that as of January 2016, we are serving Aurora Public Schools in addition to Denver Public Schools.

Since 2008, Denver’s at-risk youth population has increased approximately 50%. In fact, of the 29 school served by Colorado UpLift, over half are among the lowest rated schools in our district according to the School Performance Framework. Colorado UpLift students also live in the highest crime rate neighborhoods in Denver. Twenty-three out of the 29 schools served by Colorado UpLift have a higher mobility rate than the average Denver Public School (DPS), leading to inconsistency in a child’s life. This third-party research underscores the challenges our staff face everyday working with inner-city, at-risk youth.

Courage Classic Bike Ride of Colorado

Riders, volunteers, sponsors and donors raised $2.5 million last year for Children’s Hospital Colorado patients!

Courage Classic fundraising supports Children’s Hospital Colorado’s continued efforts to provide pediatric healthcare excellence to every child that walks through our doors. In 2015 we served nearly 225,000 infants, kids, and teens. Kids like Jessa, who depended on Children's Colorado in her fight against cancer.

As the region's only all-inclusive, nonprofit pediatric hospital, we rely on, and greatly appreciate, the contributions of our supporters to make a difference for our patients and their families.

Community Organizations

At BriteStreet Solar Group, we support organizations that want to change our community for the better by finding methods that benefit the areas we live in. Colorado Uplift and GRID Alternatives do just that. Both organizations provide low-income communities with beneficial sources that can improve their everyday lives. Colorado Uplift serves Denver and Aurora public schools, providing long-term, life-changing relationships for inner-city at-risk youth. They tend to students who live in the highest crim rate neighborhoods and attend the lowest rated schools in the district. At GRID Alternatives, they work to make renewable energy technology and job training accessible to under-served communities by bringing together community partners, volunteers and job trainees to implement solar power and energy efficiency for low-income families.

GRID Alternatives is a 501(c)(3) certified non-profit organization that brings together community partners, volunteers and job trainees to implement solar power and energy efficiency for low-income families, providing energy cost savings, valuable hands-on experience, and a source of clean, local energy that benefits us all.
