ACE is a Denver, Colorado 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides partial scholarships to children in grades K-12 to attend the private school of their choice.
Since 2000, ACE Scholarships has provided more than 12,000 scholarships worth more than $30 million in Colorado. We currently have hundreds of families hoping to receive a scholarship and there are thousands of empty seats in our Colorado partner schools waiting to be filled.
So our work continues until our vision is realized – that every child in Colorado has access to a great school.
Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation was established in 1978 and is dedicated solely to advancing the mission of Children’s Hospital Colorado. Thanks to donations large and small and the generous philanthropic spirit of our community, Children’s Colorado is able to provide the family-centered care for which we have become world renowned. From conducting cutting-edge research and treatment to building kids’ confidence through our hospital sports program, providing family sleep rooms and integrating arts therapy into the healing process, Children’s Colorado is truly unique in its approach to treatment.
Every dollar we receive is used to further our mission of caring for and curing children through the provision of high-quality care, education, research and advocacy. Your support helps expand our reach nationally and internationally and makes Children’s Colorado one of the world’s preeminent institutions of medicine and science.
For 35 years, Colorado UpLift has been building long-term, life-changing relationships with urban youth. During the 2015-2016 school year, UpLift reached more than 5,600 kids and anticipates growing that number to nearly 6,000 in 2017. We are also proud to say that as of January 2016, we are serving Aurora Public Schools in addition to Denver Public Schools.
Since 2008, Denver’s at-risk youth population has increased approximately 50%. In fact, of the 29 school served by Colorado UpLift, over half are among the lowest rated schools in our district according to the School Performance Framework. Colorado UpLift students also live in the highest crime rate neighborhoods in Denver. Twenty-three out of the 29 schools served by Colorado UpLift have a higher mobility rate than the average Denver Public School (DPS), leading to inconsistency in a child’s life. This third-party research underscores the challenges our staff face everyday working with inner-city, at-risk youth.
Riders, volunteers, sponsors and donors raised $2.5 million last year for Children’s Hospital Colorado patients!
Courage Classic fundraising supports Children’s Hospital Colorado’s continued efforts to provide pediatric healthcare excellence to every child that walks through our doors. In 2015 we served nearly 225,000 infants, kids, and teens. Kids like Jessa, who depended on Children's Colorado in her fight against cancer.
As the region's only all-inclusive, nonprofit pediatric hospital, we rely on, and greatly appreciate, the contributions of our supporters to make a difference for our patients and their families.
